The Early Years
From an early age I had a passion for business. During my school holidays it never occurred to me to get a job, but rather create innovative ways to make money myself. I did everything from collecting copper wiring for cash, door-to-door microwave testing, moving lawns and even had a go at breeding pigeons. (Not a great business:-)
I was a very poor student at school, perhaps that’s why I love entrepreneurship. My father although supportive in most things was happy if I just got a menial job, so for many years that’s what I did.
The Budding Entrepreneur
In my mid twenties, I read my first business based book and I think that’s what ignited my passion again. I attended many educational seminars as I didn’t really have anyone to learn business from. In my twenties, my business life was anything but easy.
Creating a self image that allowed me to look past my so-called limitations and move forward was a real challenge. I lost a couple of businesses and was left destitute; penniless and without a proper home.
I’ve had all sorts of business from Web Design to Decorative Homewares and even a Hair Dressing Salon. My interests are creating concepts improve their efficiency in this ever changing world.

Today Dale Mercer is a passionate entrepreneur and speaker. He is President of Technology and Innovation at iSystemize International; a company he founded with business partner Wez Hone.
He is a recognized authority on business systemization using visual media and has presented to business people and franchise groups alike about the importance of upgrading their business systems to make them more user friendly and efficient to their organization.
Dale believes that business should be fun, exciting and permit the owner to enjoy a high level of freedom.
As a result, iSystemize International was born. Dale’s vast background includes web development, internet marketing, strategic planning, software design and media production.
He’s responsible for developing the technological concepts that clients of iSystemize utilize to deliver their systems and procedures to their staff and team members.

Fun, precise, dynamic, innovative, creative, original and passionate about what I do.
•What was your first sign of entrepreneurship?
When I was 14 years old, I would do innovative things to make some extra cash including collecting and stripping copper wiring for cash and going door to door checking microwave ovens for unsafe radiation using a $25 microwave tester. (Great little business)
•What is one simple pleasure you enjoy?
Absolutely a great cup of coffee (Self proclaimed coffee snob:-)

I’m doing it now.

Night shift security guard. (I need all the beauty sleep I can get)
